The subtle manipulation of the audience through a truly cohesive Audio/visual blend is an extremely powerful tool, one that can often be underestimated.
Simon’s background in Audio Post Production for Film and TV has equipped him with a wide understanding of various Sound Design techniques and processes – from Sound Supervision, to Sound Effects Design and Dialogue Editing, to Mixing – Simon draws on his deep experience to create truly spectacular sound works, right through from conception to completion.
He takes a holistic approach to the process, where all details – whether they be social, technical, sonic, or visual - are considered. This includes tailoring to specific broadcast media, target audiences, current trends, brand identities, and emotive message to be conveyed.
Simon’s background is in Audio Post Production for Film and TV. Most notably with a solid five year's employment at Molinare, a high profile London Post Production company.
Simon was the Foley Recordist, Mixer, Lead Editor and Supervisor of the Foley Department - and as such, the main point of contact for Directors and Producers. He spec’d, recorded, edited, and pre-mixed the Foley for a wide variety of high-profile TV Drama and Feature Film such as Moon, Misfits, Silent Witness, New Tricks, Poirot, Jonathan Creek, and many more. Conducting the Foley Shoot sessions with the artist or artists demands the development of highly trusting and close-knit creative relationships and an intensely team oriented working practice. This team discipline has been carried forward and further built upon in Simon’s freelance work, where the client’s artistic vision is realised as the foremost priority, and subsequently fortified.

Simon has travelled extensively in South America, and will occasionally regale you with tales of the chicken buses and one incident with a Llama. He loves Llamas. He should have used his Wing Chun.
